The College of Veterinary Medicine organizing a scientific symposium on earthquakes.

Under the auspices and supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Wefaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, and in cooperation with the Directorate of Civil Defense in the Holy Karbala Governorate, the Scientific Affairs Division held a scientific symposium entitled: Earthquakes which lectured by the officer Hassan Eshaq and the officer Ali Sabih in the discussion hall in the College.

In the course of the scientific symposium, earthquakes and the factors contributing to their occurrence were introduced, and the importance of preventive measures that must be taken during the occurrence of earthquakes, whether inside or outside the house or in external roads and yards, and how to deal with people stuck under the ruins and provide assistance to them until rescue teams arrive and perform first aid necessary for them.

The dean of the College and a number of professors, students and staffs participated in the scientific symposium. The scientific symposium concluded with presenting thank letter for the lecturers presented by Al- Bazi, the dean of the College.
