Veterinary Medicine Students at the University of Karbala Gain Field Experience During a Scientific Visit to the Veterinary Hospital

     The Microbiology and Parasitology Department at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kerbala, organized a field trip to the Karbala Veterinary Hospital for third-year students as part of the requirements for the Clinical Immunology course. The trip aimed to solidify scientific concepts and enhance the students’ practical skills.

The students were accompanied on the visit by Dr.Lecturer Mohammed Sahib Ismail, Lecturer Nawras Majeed Hameed, and Assistant Lecturer Fatima Mohammed. They learned about diagnostic methods and laboratory tests related to immunological diseases and were introduced to the procedures for managing clinical cases within the veterinary hospital.

This visit reflects the commitment of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, to integrating theoretical and practical education and providing students with opportunities to gain field experience. This experience contributes to developing a distinguished veterinary workforce equipped with the skills and scientific knowledge to serve both the academic and practical sectors.
