The College of Veterinary Medicine Participates in a Specialized Workshop to Enhance Scientific Research in Cooperation with Clarivate Analytics

        Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, the college participated in a specialized workshop organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in cooperation with Clarivate Analytics. The workshop, hosted by Al-Mustaqbal University was part of the National Partnership Program aimed at strengthening the scientific research system in Iraq and enhancing its efficiency at both the local and international levels.

The college was represented at the workshop by Professor Dr. Ihab Ghazi Mahdi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, who participated alongside representatives from various Iraqi public and private universities across different governorates.

The workshop addressed the optimal use of global research tools such as Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports (JCR), methods for identifying reputable scientific journals, and strategies for increasing scientific citation rates.

Professor Dr. Ihab Ghazi Mahdi emphasized that this workshop represents an important step in enhancing the quality of scientific research and facilitating the exchange of expertise among researchers and academic institutions. He commended the college’s administration for its support and efforts in developing scientific research.
