علامات الصحة في الحيوان
قام التدريسي( م .م. علي رضا )مع مجموعه من طلبة المرحلة الاولى بنشاط عملي في الحقل التابع لكلية الطب البيطري وذلك في يوم الاثنين 6/4/2015 حيث تم اجراء مجموعة من الفحوصات على الحيوانات والتي تشمل (فحص درجة الحرارة والنبض والتنفس بالإضافة الى الاغشية المخاطية وحالة الجلد)….
Signs of Animal Health
- 1.Measurement of Body temperature : it indicate the body condition .the body heat generate from tissue oxidation and its regulation performs by hypothalamus gland and equilibrium take place by the blood .we can measure the temperature by insertion of thermometer in the rectum after shaking it .
- 2.Pulse Rate :it signal of Cardiovascular system .the pulse is affected by many factors like species, size, activity and sex .the pulse rate calculated from artery as fallow :
- Horse :sub maxillary artery .
- Cow : coccygeal artery .
- Sheep :femoral artery .
- 3.Respiratory Rate: considers the health of Respiratory system .we can see the chest and abdomen movements and calculate the respiratory rate per minute .
- 4.Mucous Membrane Condition : it examined in eye .the normal condition of mucous membrane is shiny pink ,the abnormal cases include :
- Paleness color : anemia .
- Yellowish color :Liver and bile diseases :
- Congestion : Fever .
- Petechial Hemorrhage :Blood Parasites and Poisoning .
- 5.Skin Condition : the normal skin is shiny, no parasites ,no scares ,no pigmentation and one direction .
