The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, Prof. Dr. Wefaq Al-Bazi , welcomed by the Director of the Division of Psychological Guidance and Educational Guidance at the Presidency of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Yaqoubi and Director of the Counseling Unit at the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mayada Sahib Hassan.
The purpose of this visit is to follow up on the field of the Educational Guidance Unit in the college, monitor the course of the guidance work there, listen to students’ problems through social media and the college’s official website, and emphasize the holding of seminars for students according to the directives of the respected President of the University.
Al-Yaqoubi was briefed on some cases and problems presented by the students and discussed educationally and psychologically with the director of the unit in the college to find appropriate solutions for them. Psychological counseling helps students who suffer from psychological or social problems that impede their developmental lives, and thus the committees work to build students on the one hand, and to protect them from dangers on the other.
