The participation of a professor in the College of Veterinary Medicine on Al-Afnan Academy for Livestock Services in the United Arab Emirates.

Prof. Dr. Latif Ibrahim Kazem, Head of the Diseases and Poultry Diseases Branch and a lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University participated on the scientific symposium held by Al-Afnan Academy for Livestock Services and in cooperation with MSD for Animal Health, which is held in the United Arab Emirates for the period from 12-15 December 2022.

The scientific lecture presented by Dr. Latif Ibrahim was on the title (The Most Important Poultry Diseases in Iraq) as part of a series of different scientific lectures in which lecturers from several Arab and foreign countries participated, related to the poultry industry and the most important challenges confronting this industry and finding appropriate solutions for it.

The most important recommendations of this symposium:
– Increasing the number of specialized laboratories in diagnosing poultry diseases.
-The necessity to apply the principles of biosecurity and good management in the fields.
-Relying on the principle of preventing diseases and providing the necessary vaccines.
