The College of Veterinary Medicine organizes a humanitarian initiative to equip needy families with Ramadan food baskets

Coinciding with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Continuing Education Division organized with the Women’s Empowerment Unit, the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit and the Graduate Follow-up Unit and the Student Activities Unit with a number of graduate students at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala under the patronage, supervision and guidance of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wefaq Jubouri Al-Bazi and in cooperation with the Qamar Bani Hashem Foundation for Education and Humanitarian Aid in the province with a wide campaign to prepare and distribute Ramadan food baskets to a number of generous families embraced in the institution.

This initiative comes within the multiple initiatives of the college to provide the best community services to many segments of society in the governorate and contribute to the care of the orphans recommended by our religion and provide support to them at various levels.

On the other hand, food baskets were distributed to a number of needy families in the Freiha area and a number of families in different areas of the governorate.
