Discussion of the second master’s thesis in the branch of physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Karbala University it discussed a master’s thesis in the branch of physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology .

The thesis was titled “The relationship between the genetic diversity of growth hormone with body weight and some physiological characteristics of sheep in Karbala Governorate” was presented by master student  Fatima Abdul Mohsen Abdul Redha.

The aim of the thesis was to find the relationship between the genetic diversity of the growth hormone in the Awassi and Naimi sheep and the weight of the body through the knowledge of the best genetic diversity of the Awassi and Naimi sheep and its association with the values of weight increases and body measurements in the born lambs and in postpartum and weaning periods.

The thesis discussed the existence of increased weight for Awassi pregnant women born of mothers with aa (Aa) as well as an increase in weight for Naimi’s pregnancies born of mothers carrying (AA) of genes.

The student received a distinction degree .
