Prof. Dr. Iman Talib Karim al-Rubaie, the professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine/ University of Kerbala , obtained a patent with a group of professors at the University of Karbala and the General Directorate of Education in Kerbala Governorate as a research team.
The patent involved the creation of an environmentally friendly, low-cost, and highly efficient adsorbant surface to remove the carcinogenic dye Coomassie Brilliiant blue G-250 from industrial and waste water.
