The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala, in cooperation with the Veterinary Hospital in Kerbala, organized a visit to the sick children who were lying in the corridors of the Imam Hussein Center for the Treatment of Oncology and Blood Diseases affiliated to the Imam Hussain Medical City in the Holy Karbala Governorate, starting from the principle of joint cooperation between state institutions and departments under supervision and follow-up. of prof. Dr. Wifaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, and Dr. Wissam Abdel-Rasoul Al-Jabri, Director of the Veterinary Hospital, in light of these exceptional circumstances of the Coronavirus pandemic, where a set of medical supplies and a number of souvenirs were presented to them as moral support for this important segment, which is part of our authentic Kerbalai community.
The visit’s curriculum was to provide breakfast for the children lying in the center’s halls, and to distribute masks, hand sanitizers and face shields, along with educational awareness brochures on the Corona virus, in addition to souvenirs.
At the end of the visit, the staff of the center and the dormant children with their families offered their thanks and appreciation for the continuous support provided by the College of Veterinary Medicine and the veterinary hospital.
