Under the supervision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kadhim Abdul-Sahib, The activities of the Second International Conference , which was held by Al-Ameed University college for Medical Sciences and Higher Education Authority at the al-Abbas’s (pbu) holy shrine, and which was hosted by the Imam Hassan Mujtaba (pbu ) hall in the center of the university campus under the slogan “By scientific research we rise to achieve a healthy and safe environment.” The opening of the conference was attended by the President of Karbala University, Prof. Dr. Basim Khalil Nile and a large number of researchers and professors
The lecturer Dr. Muhammad Jassim Jawad, the professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, participated in a scientific research on the synergistic action between oxytetracycline treatment and chemotherapy in the treatment of breast cancer.
The research aimed to find a synergistic effect of chemical drugs in the treatment of cancer to reduce the emergence of resistance and reduce the proportion of the drug and thus reach cure in less time and with minor side effects.
