Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wefaq Al-Bazi, and by the follow-up of Dr. Rana Abdul-Amir Jawad, Director of the Division of Continuios Education Division , students of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala organized an event to coincide with the advent of the International Human Rights Day, on the tenth of December of each year.
Through the event, awareness and educational brochures were distributed to students about human rights.
The celebration of Human Rights Day is a culmination of the march of all defenders of the values of freedom, dignity and equality in all parts of the earth and throughout the ages, with the issuance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the first building block in the global human rights system that seeks to guarantee a minimum level of rights for all human beings.
