In cooperation with the Veterinary Hospital in Karbala, the Division of Continuing Education at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala held the second meeting to follow up on the implementation of the summer training mechanism, headed by Dr. Amna Khudhair Abed Aoun, and in the presence of the assistant director at the Veterinary Hospital, and the assistant teacher, Islam Jawad Kazem, in the Department of Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine at the college.
During the meeting, it was stressed the need to support and activate the mechanisms of joint scientific cooperation between the two parties and at various levels of exchanging scientific-practical experiences with the aim of upgrading and advancing the reality of the veterinary profession in the governorate, and following up on students training during the summer period and under the supervision of specialized professors.
It was also agreed to form a joint working team of professors from the college branches with a specialized veterinary medical staff from the veterinary hospital to develop a special emergency plan to visit the tenth of the holy month of Muharram, in addition to forming voluntary teams to sterilize and sanitize the Husseini processions spread throughout the governorate.
