The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has launched the Iraqi standards for the quality of higher education laboratories on its second updated version in light of the national standards of the good educational laboratory (GLP).
The updated standards directed by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Prof.Nabil Kazem Abdel Sahib included items aimed at improving the laboratory environment as part of the requirements for obtaining specialized program accreditation.
The updated version, which was carried out by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Department, included international standards for laboratories and their environment, and explaining their general, regulatory, technical and requirements of safety and quality assurance that must be met in scientific, research and service laboratories affiliated to the formations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
