The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, Prof. Wefaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, has signed a memorandum of understanding (M.O.U) with the Director General of the Authority of Research and Industrial Development, Dr. Ahmed Younis, aiming at developing scientific cooperation between the two parties, in the presence of a number of professors and teachers.
The memorandum of understanding included cooperation in all fields of medical and pharmaceutical sciences, as well as in the field of courses, symposiums, workshops, joint research, and higher studies. In addition, the Department of Scientific Coordination in the Authority organized procedures for visiting the laboratories at the centers to learn about the available devices and capabilities related to drug and Nano research.
The two parties have agreed upon exchanging visits in order to activate and continue the scientific work and focus on the medical and pharmaceutical centers, which include the Al-Razi Center, the Ibn Al-Bitar Center, Sina Center and the Center for Research and Production of Veterinary Medicines.
