The Branch of Veterinary Surgery and Obstetrics received one of the pathological cases of a male cat that was suffering from bladder retention for several days as a result of blockage of the bladder area caused by coagulated blood on the side of the bladder area. A surgery of urinary catheter was performed to open the bladder area and remove the hemocoagulation from it. In the presence of the fifth stage students, the surgical process was performed by Dr. Falah Mahmoud Hamid with complete success.
It is worth noting that these operations are conducted free of charge by the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala in the Animal Field of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
