The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, has received the ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Iraq, Dr. Montaser Aqla Al-Zoubi, and they have discussed areas of cooperation between the universities of the two countries.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Aboudi stressed the importance of joint cooperation in terms of academic programs, exchange of experiences and scholarships the launch of the initiation of the “Study in Iraq” to accept foreign students in Iraqi universities.
The Minister of Higher Education called for crystallizing an integrated environment that would benefit from educational experiences that contribute to the development of university institutions and raise them to the highest level of quality and academic assurance in accordance with international indicators and standards.
On his part, the ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan expressed his country’s readiness to enhance the environment of cooperation in the higher education sector, to work diligently to formulate understandings, and to participate in workshops and conferences organized by the universities of the two countries.
