Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Abdel Yasser and the supervision of the President of the University of Kerbala, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel, and with the guidance, pursuance of the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr.Wefaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala held the fourth periodic scientific conference, in cooperation with Al Etihad Investment Company, on Thursday, 4/5/2023, at the Presidency Hall of the University of Kerbala, The conference was attended by the Administrative Assistant to the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri, the Scientific Assistant to the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdel-Hussein, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, and a number of gentlemen deans of veterinary medicine faculties in Iraq, directors of veterinary departments, researchers and specialists from inside and outside Iraq.
Al-Bazi stated that the conference aims to find appropriate solutions to the problems afflicting livestock in our country and through participating research, as the scientific committees of the conference received more than 50 research papers with different specializations from inside and outside Iraq, Pointing out that all the participating researches were subjected to scientific evaluation, which will contribute effectively to enhancing capacities for the advancement of animal production, as the administrative assistant Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri said, “The conference comes within the university’s vision of caring for livestock,” referring to the university’s endeavor to create knowledge integration between the practical and theoretical sides.
