The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, chaired a meeting of the advanced staff to discuss a number of development files in the scientific research and university education environment.
The meeting reviewed the course of procedures and timings for the establishment of an advanced research center that would enhance the fields of specialized scientific research for academic institutions, while the file for the establishment of a zero nuclear reactor for the scientific work of university students was deliberated.
The Minister of Education stressed the follow-up of the implementation of the Bologna track in the departments of engineering and science and the achievement of indicators of educational transformation in this global trend, which will give Iraqi university education an important momentum towards the universality of the academic event.
The Minister of Education directed to review and determine the specializations on which the programs and plan of Iraqi universities in postgraduate studies for the academic year 2025/2024 are based in accordance with the needs of state institutions and development requirements, while urging to study the file of cultural attachés abroad and rehabilitate, modernize and expand their buildings to suit their tasks in following up on the affairs of Iraqi students.
