Thirteen Iraqi universities have achieved competitive results in the Times World Classification of Subjects in its new version for the year 2024.
The results of the classification (Click Here) showed that the universities of Baghdad, Babylon, Kufa, Mosul and Mustansiriya obtained important positions in the field of medicine and health sciences (Clinical and Health), while the universities of Anbar, Mosul, Baghdad, Basra, Kufa and Mustansiriya scored positive positions in the field of life sciences.
In engineering, the universities of Al-Nahrain, Qadisiya, Anbar, Babylon, Diyala, Technology, Baghdad, Basra, Karbala, the Central Technical University, Mosul and Mustansiriya achieved important centers.
The universities of Qadisiyah, Babylon, Technology, Nahrain, Diyala, Anbar, Baghdad, Basra, Karbala, Kufa, Mosul and Mustansiriya won their competitive positions in the field of physical science, while the universities of Al-Nahrain, Anbar, Babylon, Baghdad, Kufa, the Central Technical University, Mosul, Technology, Basra and Mustansiriya obtained index positions in the specialization of Computer Science.
It is worth noting that Iraq ranked 37th globally in the Times University Ranking for the year 2024 by registering Iraqi universities competing and their presence in the ranking, in which 2024 universities from 108 countries around the world competed according to evaluation indicators in the fields of teaching, research environment, research quality, international outlook and industry income.
