The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, sponsored the signing of an executive agreement with the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) to cooperate in the fields of training and developing the skills of graduates.
The agreement stipulates the implementation of a special program to develop English, digital and technical skills and entrepreneurship skills in cooperation with the Qualification, Employment and Continuing Education Centers in the universities of Mosul, Basra, Technology, Anbar, Dhi Qar and Maysan to contribute to the development and enhancement of graduates’ capabilities, provide environments for knowledge exchange, and develop and strengthen skills and experiences.
The Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naam Al-Aboudi, expressed his hope for more cooperation and coordination within the Jusoor initiative, which aims to establish joint programs for development and respond to the requirements of sustainable development, while the representative of the World Food Program, Mr. Alireza Qureshi, indicated that the executive agreement represents an important basis for cooperation and providing a suitable environment for projects and programs that will enable university graduates with labor market skills.
