In order to develop the educational environment and measure institutional and programmatic performance indicators and the path of scientific research, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the results of the Iraqi classification of universities for the year 2023.
This edition, which was completed by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, includes the evaluation of 95 governmental and private institutions according to institutional accreditation standards 20%, international classifications 10%, the effectiveness of scientific research 30%, community service 5%, digital maturity 2%, faculty members 10%, awards 5%, students 5%, infrastructure 5%, diversity and international cooperation 5%, and occupational health and safety 3%.
The results of the classification (www.iru.gov.iq) showed the University of Baghdad in first place, then the University of Babylon and the University of Technology at the level of public universities, while Al-Ameed University ranked first at the level of universities and private colleges, and the University of the Future came in second place and then the Islamic University in third place.
