The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, chaired a meeting of the ministerial team on the implementation of the national anti-corruption strategy and urged strengthening preventive follow-up and a full shift to automating procedures in all departments of the ministry.
During the meeting held at the Legal Department, he stressed that the climate of academic awareness in educational institutions contributes positively to identifying risks and diagnosing phenomena that have a direct and indirect impact on the phenomenon of corruption, which requires the development of the necessary preventive buffers to prevent its indicators and repercussions.
He praised the work of the ministerial team on the implementation of the national anti-corruption strategy and the completion of requirements in coordination with the Federal Integrity Authority, noting that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is working in accordance with the priorities of the government program, which is at the forefront of the anti-corruption track.
The ministerial team reviewed the implementation program of the national strategy and the total percentages of achievements achieved and preventive measures adopted by the departments through electronic systems that citizens deal with directly.
