The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, chaired a meeting of the committees responsible for preparations for hosting the work of the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, which will be hosted in the capital Baghdad in early March 2024.
The meeting reviewed the work tracks of the committees, the content of the agenda and the scientific events that will be held at the University of Baghdad, which will cover days from the first week of next March.
During the meeting, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, made direct contact with the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, and stressed the readiness of the organizational procedures for the General Conference and expressed his interest in this academic event, which concerns Arab universities and opens a vital field for signing bilateral understandings between Arab institutions, while the Secretary-General pointed to the need to embody the outputs of the General Conference of the Union, which will be hosted in the capital, Baghdad, in the form of programs and timings that serve joint work.
