The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, stressed that the international accreditation granted to Iraq in the field of medical education bears a clear indication of the sobriety of study programs and the universality of standards adopted in the environment of Iraqi universities.
This came in his speech during the Ambition and Creativity Forum for Scholarship Candidates, that this qualitative and pioneering historical achievement in the history of specialized and academic education in Iraq came thanks to the concerted efforts of the faithful in the National Council for Medical Education and Integration, which the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its institutions worked on to achieve this goal and the strategic goal, which carries a clear indication of the sobriety of study programs in Iraq and the universality of standards adopted in Iraqi universities.
He explained that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has accomplished with confidence, pride and responsibility in record time what the sincere people aspire to in the field of medical education and provided a supportive professional environment for the Accreditation Council of Medical Colleges in Iraq and gave a positive impetus in communication with the World Federation for Medical Education until the moment of the global decision to obtain international accreditation for Iraq.
The Minister of Education renewed the pledge to exert maximum capabilities to provide an educational environment that contributes to the development of academic capabilities and programs and keeps pace with medical and scientific developments in the world.
