Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Wifaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, and under the slogan (blessed with the birth of the eye of life), the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, coinciding with the anniversary of the birth of the savior of humanity, Imam Mahdi, the awaited Imam Mahdi, may God hasten his release Al-Sharif, organized a set of activities within the axes of awareness and education implemented by the college and in cooperation with the General Veterinary Hospital and its veterinary clinics in the holy province of Karbala to support the plan to visit the half of the month of Shaaban Al-Aghar for the Hijri year 1445.
The awareness campaign included the distribution of educational awareness brochures on diseases common to humans and animals, the distribution of a visit booklet dedicated to half of Sha’ban, in addition to the distribution of water, juices and sweets to the honorable visitors coming to the holy province of Karbala.
The awareness campaign aims to educate the largest number of citizens about the seriousness of common diseases and ways to avoid the transmission of diseases by following the instructions mentioned in the brochures.
The tasks were distributed to the students of the College of Veterinary Medicine and specialized veterinarians in all areas of Karbala, Musayyib and Tuwairej in cooperation with the employees of the veterinary hospital, in addition to examining the fish with the fish unit team at the veterinary hospital.
