On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala organized a field visit to Lady Khadija Al-Kubra Hospital (peace be upon her) with the participation of the teachers of the College of Veterinary Medicine and the rest of the colleges.
The field visit included inspecting the women in the hospital, offering them congratulations, providing them with psychological support and souvenirs on the occasion of their Eid.
The delegation was received by Dr. Baida Al-Tamimi, Director of the hospital, and she welcomed this initiative and congratulated her on this occasion as it represents a model for women leaders in the management of one of the important health institutions in Karbala, which takes care of women’s health.
