The University of Karbala began preparing 1700 breakfast meals for students of the university’s internal departments under the field supervision of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, the Administrative Assistant Prof. Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, and a number of professors and employees.
The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, said, “In honor of this holy month, a collective Iftar banquet was held for students of the university’s internal departments, residing in the residential complex and from most Iraqi provinces,” as well as foreign students who started this year in the study seats within the Study in Iraq initiative.
He stressed that these humanitarian initiatives for students enhance the social aspects and the parental spirit among students and their scientific environment, and that the university has taken it upon itself to provide many of these initiatives as they develop the bonds of love between all.
For his part, the Director of Internal Departments, Dr. Haider Gharib, explained that this initiative will continue throughout the days of the holy month, which will be served daily breakfast for more than 1700 students living in the housing complex for students and housing homes for female students.
