Under the sponsorship and supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Wefaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, and within the framework of joint cooperation with the National Security Directorate in the Holy Governorate of Karbala, the units of psychological counseling, educational guidance, rehabilitation, employment, and follow-up of graduates organized an educational awareness seminar entitled Drugs, in the presence of the Dean of the College and a number of faculty members. And the participation of a number of college students.
The symposium aims to identify in detail the types of drugs, how to use them, and the methods used to spread this phenomenon, in addition to knowing how to prevent the dangers of addiction and limit its spread, as it is considered one of the most important dangerous and alien repercussions on our society that threatens the security and safety of youth energies in a special way in society, as it has an impact on aspects of Multiple, including health, legal, social and economic.
Al-Bazi explained that holding educational seminars for university students about addiction and its dangers has positive motives, so the focus was on holding such seminars in our college for awareness and educational purposes and under the supervision and support of specialized cadres in the security and regulatory authorities to contribute to eliminating those who traffic in the lives of citizens and the country’s economy.
