The College of Veterinary Medicine participated in a ceremony to honor the winning students of the third edition of the Alloys of Thought competition, which was organized by the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Karbala.
The honoring ceremony was attended by the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Basem Khalil Nayel Al-Saidi, the representative of the Minister of Youth and Sports, the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, and a number of deans of colleges and university professors.
The competition aimed to discover the students’ artistic talents and provide them with support, especially as it was launched in conjunction with Women’s Day and International Creativity Day.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports allocated sums of money to the winners of the first three places in the fields of the competition, which were distributed in the fields of poetry, article and short story.
It is noteworthy that the competition focused in all its editions on issues of concern to women and contribute to improving their reality.
For his part, the student Maryam Mahdi from the College of Veterinary Medicine won the third place for writing the short story.
