Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Wifaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, and within the framework of the mechanism of joint scientific cooperation with Ferdowsi University, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, in cooperation with its counterpart at Ferdowsi University, organized an electronic scientific lecture on the Adobe connect platform on hemorrhagic fever delivered by Dr. Fatima Ahmadi from Ferdowsi University.
The lecture aims to achieve a strategy of building real partnerships in the fields of scientific research related to veterinary medicine and joining joint efforts to achieve institutional integration in working to find solutions to the problems facing livestock and have a direct impact on animal production and public health alike.
The lecture highlighted several axes, including identifying the history of hemorrhagic fever, the pathogen and the most important clinical symptoms in humans, in addition to identifying how to diagnose it, methods of treatment and prevention, and discussing a number of solutions to control this disease or limit its spread by eliminating ticks, which is the mediator of hemorrhagic fever for many animals, especially field ones.
