The Minister of Education honors an Iraqi champion who refused to be crowned in the World Mwitai Championship in protest against the presence of a competitor from the K.I.N.S.H.Y.

             The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, honored the player of the Iraqi national team for Al-Muwaitai, who won an advanced position in the World Championship, the champion Ali Al-Kinani, who refused to climb to the podium in protest against the presence of a rival player from the K.I.N.

During his meeting with a delegation that included the President of the Iraqi Mawaitai Federation and a number of coaches and players in the presence of the head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, the Minister of Education stressed that the heroic position of the Iraqi player participating in the World Championship for Advanced Students in Greece came in the context of the positions of support adopted by Iraqis towards the Fatah Al-Mudaii and a rejection of the brutal crimes committed by this usurping Kiyan against the Palestinian people, pointing out that this position alone represents a sports, moral, national and humanitarian achievement that deserves honor and praise.
