Based on its legal powers to manage the admission file in Iraqi universities and to establish the initiation line towards organizing the requirements of the academic year 2025/2024 and providing a fair competitive environment that ensures the absorption of the indicator of the number of students in all academic disciplines, the opinion body at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research decided the following 👇:
▪️Determining the application and competition rate for admission to faculties of medicine by at least 95% in public universities, universities and private colleges as of the academic year 2025/2024.
▪️Determining the application and competition rate for admission to the faculties of dentistry and pharmacy by at least 85% in universities and private colleges as of the academic year 2025/2024.
▪️Cancel the privileges granted within the admission gates for any category except those stipulated by law.
