Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Wifaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala organized a scientific field visit for the fourth stage students trainees in the General Veterinary Hospital and veterinary clinics in Al-Hindiya and Al-Husseiniya to the Karbala Model Massacre for Red Meat under the supervision of a number of teaching gentlemen.
The field visit aims to increase the skills of the trainee students and their practical abilities on how to examine animals before the carrots, as the visit included a detailed explanation by the supervisors of the massacre about the basic steps to receive the various animals prepared for the islands and how to examine and prepare them before the carrot process, as well as examining meat after completing the carrot process to ensure its suitability for human consumption and free of pathogens or toxin residues that have a significant impact on the quality of meat and on the health of the consumer.
