The College of Veterinary Medicine organizes an awareness seminar on confronting extremist ideas with enlightened thought

              Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala organized an awareness seminar entitled (Towards Conscious Youth: Confronting Extremist Ideas with Enlightened Thought) in which Assistant Professor Dr. Mayada Sahib Hassan, Assistant Professor Rana Abdul Amir Jawad and Assistant Teacher Fatima Muhammad Ali lectured, in which a number of college students participated.

The seminar aimed to shed light on the danger of extremist ideas that are a real threat to societies as they seek to exploit the enthusiasm and inexperience of young people to drag them towards situations that threaten security and stability.

In this context, the seminar focused on the importance of promoting enlightened thought that relies on awareness and education to spread the values of moderation and tolerance among young people.

At the end of the seminar, the lecturers stressed the importance of adopting a comprehensive strategy to confront extremist ideas based on education and encouraging the role of the family and society in raising an intellectually balanced generation capable of contributing to building a stable and secure society.
