The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Saleh Al-Kaabi, participated in the entrepreneurship course in small projects organized by the College of Law with the participation of a group of specialists and influential figures in the financial and business sector.
Dr. Al-Kaabi’s participation comes within the framework of the College of Veterinary Medicine’s keenness to support its students and provide them with the necessary knowledge to develop their entrepreneurial skills in order to open new horizons in the labor market and enhance their chances of establishing their own projects.
The course, which lasted for three days, discussed various topics on the foundations of establishing small businesses, career development and inspiring success stories, with the participation of the owners of some projects in the city of Karbala, as well as Mr. Ali Kamouna, Director of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Office in the province, and Karbala Governor Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khatabi, in addition to Mr. Ali Kamouna, Director of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Office in the province.
Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, President of Karbala University, stressed that these events embody the university’s vision in promoting creativity and innovation and empowering students with the necessary knowledge to transform their ideas into successful projects that contribute to serving the community, during the closing activities of the course, which was attended by the President and members of the University Council and the Chairman of the Education Committee of the Provincial Council, Dr. Mohsen Al-Kanani.
It is noteworthy that this course comes within a series of activities and programs organized by Karbala University to empower students and graduates and enhance their role in economic and social development through entrepreneurship and small projects.
