Faculty of Veterinary Medicine defends master’s thesis on the effect of multiple enzymes on the performance of broiler chickens under heat stress

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University discussed a master’s thesis by Israa Abdul Rida Salman in the public health branch entitled “The effect of adding multiple enzymes to low-energy feed on the performance of broiler chickens under heat stress” in the college’s discussion hall in the presence of a number of professors, researchers and specialists in the field.

The study aims to evaluate the positive effects of adding these enzymes to low-energy feed and their ability to improve the productive performance of broiler chickens, especially under heat stress conditions.

The results showed that the addition of the enzymes improved digestion efficiency, increased growth rates and minimized the negative effects of heat stress, which reflects positively on the health and production of chickens.

The study recommended following the instructions of the company producing these enzymes for the Rose strain, emphasizing that using them according to the recommended standards may contribute significantly to improving the health of poultry and increasing their production efficiency.
