Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organizes an awareness campaign on climate change and ways to reduce it

              As part of its efforts to spread environmental awareness and promote the culture of sustainability, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University organized an awareness campaign on climate change and ways to reduce it, under the pillar of prevention and protection, under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Asaad Saleh Al-Kaabi.
The aim of the campaign is to sensitize the community to the dangers of climate change and its impact on humans, the environment and animals, and to promote a culture of sustainability by encouraging individuals to adopt environmentally friendly practices.
The campaign included the distribution of informative brochures explaining the seriousness and impact of climate change and emphasizing the importance of taking sustainable measures to reduce this phenomenon.
Assistant teacher Taqi Mohammed Abdul Ridha, who is in charge of the unit, emphasized the importance of taking sustainable measures to reduce this phenomenon: She stressed the need to follow responsible environmental policies that support clean energy, reforestation, and reducing carbon emissions.
This event comes within the framework of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, which seeks to balance economic growth and environmental protection, which contributes to building a safer future for future generations.
