College of Veterinary Medicine launches a campaign to distribute Ramadan baskets to needy families in Karbala

              In a humanitarian initiative that embodies the values of social solidarity, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University organized a charitable campaign to distribute Ramadan baskets to needy families in the holy province of Karbala in conjunction with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

The campaign was launched under the patronage and direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asad Al-Kaabi, with the participation of a number of teachers, students and affiliates who contributed to the preparation and distribution of food baskets that included the basic items needed for the Iftar and Suhoor tables.

Al-Kaabi stressed that this initiative comes within the college’s approach to supporting the local community and promoting the spirit of giving and solidarity, pointing out that the college is keen to organize such events that reflect the noble humanitarian values of the holy month of Ramadan.

He added that volunteering and social responsibility are part of the university’s mission to serve the community, stressing that such initiatives will continue in the future.

The beneficiary families expressed their thanks and gratitude for this generous gesture, appreciating the efforts exerted by the college to support the needy groups and alleviate their burdens during the Holy Month.
