Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organizes a training course on the importance of planning and management for the success of veterinary projects

            The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University organized a training course entitled “The importance of planning and management for the success of veterinary projects” under the auspices and direct supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asad Al-Kaabi, as part of the curriculum of activities prepared by the Continuing Education Unit to enhance the administrative and economic skills of veterinarians and students of the College.

The training course witnessed the participation of a number of professors and employees of the college in addition to the attendance of a number of students.

The training course addressed several basic themes, most notably identifying the principles of strategic planning, veterinary project management, economic feasibility analysis, marketing mechanisms and sustainable development. The course highlighted the challenges facing veterinarians in the labor market and ways to overcome them.

At the end of the course, the Dean of the College emphasized the importance of integrating administrative skills with the fields of veterinary medicine to ensure the success of veterinary projects and the need to hold more workshops and training courses in this field.

It is worth mentioning that this course comes within the framework of a series of activities of the Continuing Education Unit at the college to support students and affiliates and enhance their opportunities in the labor market.
