As part of its efforts to promote international scientific cooperation and raise the academic and research level, the Missions and Relations Unit, in cooperation with the Scientific Affairs Unit and the Phylogenetics, Biochemistry and Pharmaceuticals Branch at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, under the supervision and guidance of the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Asad Al-Kaabi, organized an electronic scientific lecture entitled: Cardiovascular effects of pomegranate:

In cooperation with the College of Veterinary Medicine at Ferdowsi University, Prof. Dr. Hamid Reza Kazrani lectured via Adobe Connect in the presence of a wide range of faculty members and undergraduate and graduate students, where he reviewed the positive effects of pomegranate on cardiovascular health, based on the latest scientific studies that showed its role in improving blood lipid levels, reducing inflammation, enhancing blood flow, in addition to its antioxidant effect in protecting the heart from free radicals.
This lecture comes as part of a series of scientific activities organized by the college in implementation of the memorandum of understanding between the two universities with the aim of developing scientific research and providing an academic environment that supports innovation. The college confirms its commitment to continue organizing scientific events that contribute to enhancing knowledge and serving the community.
