Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Asad Al-Kaabi, the Rehabilitation, Employment and Graduate Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Public Health Branch of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, organized a scientific seminar entitled “Proper Nutrition Strategies in Domestic and Large Animals” with the participation of a group of researchers and students, lectured by Professor Dr. Kadhim Saleh Kadhim and veterinarian Zainab Ali Jabr.
The seminar aimed to review the latest scientific methods in feeding domestic animals and small ruminants, as well as large animals such as cows, buffaloes and camels, with the aim of improving feeding efficiency and enhancing productivity and animal health.
The seminar discussed the basics of animal nutrition and its impact on growth and production, in addition to the nutritional needs at different stages of life and the importance of achieving nutritional balance.
The seminar also touched on the role of proper nutrition in preventing diseases and improving animal performance, as well as the latest technologies in feed manufacturing and their impact on the quality and sustainability of production.
