Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Saleh Al-Kaabi, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University organized a training course entitled (identification of poultry diseases and strategies of prevention and treatment) in the hall of the animal field in the college with the participation of the fifth stage students lectured by Prof. Dr. Latif Ibrahim Kazim, Prof. Dr. Yasser Jamal Jamil and Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Kazim.
The course aimed to highlight the most important diseases that affect poultry and ways to prevent them, ensure their health and increase production, in addition to discussing the economic risks of these diseases and their impact on the livestock sector.
The course included several topics, including defining the causes of diseases, whether viral, bacterial or parasitic, identifying ways to prevent them, as well as providing practical solutions to minimize the resulting losses.
