Within the framework of joint cooperation between academic and media institutions, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asad Saleh Al-Kaabi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, granted a letter of thanks and appreciation to Mr. Mohammed Jawad Kazem Al-Abadi, President of the Karbala Institute for Media Development, in appreciation for his efforts in organizing a distinguished awareness workshop for the college’s students.
The workshop was held at the College of Veterinary Medicine under the title “Electronic Media and Social Media Sites – Challenges and Opportunities” and highlighted the importance of conscious interaction with the digital space and the role of media in shaping public opinion and building a positive image for institutions and individuals alike.
The Dean praised the pioneering role played by the Karbala Institute for Media Development in spreading media awareness among community groups, noting that such initiatives open new knowledge horizons for students and contribute to enhancing their personal and professional skills.
For his part, Mr. Al-Abadi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the deanship of the college for the good reception and positive interaction, stressing that the Institute will continue to implement its educational and awareness programs in coordination with universities and educational institutions.
This step comes within a series of activities aimed at linking the academic aspect with the practical reality and enhancing the digital culture of university students in order to keep pace with the rapid developments in the field of modern media.
