The College of Veterinary Medicine organizes a humanitarian visit to the Imam Hussein (AS) Institute for the Care of Children with Disabilities

             As part of its humanitarian and community activities, the Women’s Affairs and Human Rights Units at the College of Veterinary Medicine organized a field visit to the Imam Hussein (AS) Institute for the Care of Children with Disabilities, affiliated with the Health and Medical Education Authority – Psychiatry and Autism Center in the Holy Hussainiya Shrine in Karbala Governorate.

This visit was an expression of the spirit of social responsibility, where symbolic gifts were presented to the children at the institute, in an atmosphere of familiarity and love, in an effort to put a smile on their faces and bring joy to their hearts.

The staff of the institute expressed their thanks and gratitude for this kind initiative, emphasizing the importance of supporting people of determination psychologically and socially. The participants also praised the importance of such visits, which enhance human communication and develop the values of compassion and giving.

The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al Kaabi, said: “The College of Veterinary Medicine does not limit its mission to academic and scientific aspects only, but extends to include social and humanitarian responsibility towards various segments of society, especially people of determination. We emphasize our full support for these good initiatives, and we seek to repeat them periodically as they have a positive impact on building a cohesive human community.
