Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asad Saleh Al-Kaabi, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, participated in the scientific lecture hosted by the university under the title “The role of science and technology in achieving sustainable development”, delivered by the great Iraqi scientist Prof. Adel Sharif Al-Husseini.
Dr. Al-Kaabi stressed the importance of the lecture in highlighting the use of technology and artificial intelligence to address climate and environmental challenges in the fields of energy, water and health, pointing out the need to adopt modern scientific methods to achieve the goals of sustainable development in Iraq.
Al Kaabi praised Prof. Sharif’s experience and scientific career, calling for strengthening cooperation with expatriate Iraqi scientists to support vital projects in Iraqi universities.
The lecture was attended by a group of professors and students, reflecting the university’s interest in enhancing academic communication with scientists.
