Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Abboudi received the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq, Mr. Anil Bora Enan, and discussed the development of academic cooperation between the institutions of the two countries.
The Minister of Education affirmed the readiness of Iraq and its university institutions to cooperate in the field of joint scientific research and the development of contexts of understanding and cultural exchange, noting that the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its universities attract thousands of international students within the Study in Iraq program and are preparing to launch its third edition soon.
For his part, the Turkish Ambassador expressed his happiness with the level of coordination between the two sides and the level of development indicators in Iraq, pointing to the desire of Turkish students to study in Iraqi universities, which have an important scientific history and presence.
