The College of Veterinary Medicine Organizes a Training Course on Developing E-Skills as Part of the National Strategy for Education and Higher Education 2022–2031

              As part of the implementation of the National Strategy for Education and Higher Education 2022–2031, the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Veterinary Medicine—under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi—organized a training course entitled “Developing E-Skills.” Assistant Lecturer Ammar Hussein Jawad lectured at the course.

The course saw the participation of a number of college staff and instructors who were nominated to contribute to the implementation of this program. The course aimed to enable participants to understand the basic concepts of e-management and their applications in the modern work environment.

The course focused on developing practical skills in using digital technologies in management, improving efficiency and effectiveness in decision-making, and enhancing the ability to manage resources and information electronically. It also aimed to qualify participants to use various electronic tools in the areas of planning, organization, communication, and follow-up, and to provide high-quality administrative services.

Training Course Topics:

1. Topic One: Basic Concepts of E-Governance

Definition of e-Governance and its importance in the modern work environment.

The difference between traditional management and e-Governance.

Characteristics and advantages of digital transformation in administrative work.

2. Topic Two: Tools and Technologies Used in E-Governance

Identification of the most important electronic systems and applications used in management (such as resource management systems, planning, and internal correspondence).

Time and Task Management Using Digital Tools.

3. Topic Three: Challenges and Information Security in E-Governance

Challenges facing the implementation of e-Governance (human, technical, and organizational).

Fundamentals of information security and data protection in the digital work environment.

Best practices for ensuring the sustainability of e-Governance.

The training course concluded with a quiz for participants to assess their understanding of the concepts and topics presented during the course.
