Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Asaad Saleh, and within the framework of its activities aimed at consolidating family values and promoting community awareness, the Women’s Affairs Unit organized an awareness seminar entitled (The Golden Key to Family Happiness), in which Assistant Professor Dr. Asawer Asaad Mohammad lectured and a number of those interested in the awareness aspect participated.
The seminar shed light on the concept of the family as the main pillar for building a cohesive Islamic society, and explained the importance of marriage as a relationship that aims to achieve emotional, psychological and social stability between spouses.
The lecturer also addressed the educational and psychological dimensions of the marital relationship, pointing out the difference between affection and mercy and the vital role each plays in the success of family life. She emphasized the importance of the couple’s awareness of the psychological and innate differences between men and women in order to achieve understanding and integration within the family.
