Karbala University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine faculty participates in the defense of a master’s thesis at Kufa University

         Prof. Dr. Wafaa Kazim Jassim, an instructor at the Department of Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University, participated in the defense committee of a master’s thesis by student Zain al-Abidin Najm Abdul Hussein, which took place at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kufa University.

The thesis, titled “Enhanced role of walnut extract against neurodegenerative changes in female rats,” examined the preventive and therapeutic effects of walnut extract in reducing neurological disorders, with a focus on neurodegenerative changes that may affect the central nervous system.

The study aims to verify the effectiveness of walnut extract as a natural substance in preventing potential neurological damage and stimulating neural regeneration, opening new research horizons in the field of preventive and therapeutic medicine for neurological disorders.

Prof. Wafa Kazem’s participation came within the framework of scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities and their continuous support for scientific research and exchange of academic expertise between educational institutions.
